Techtrol A50L Animal Cremator
A50L - Animal Cremator
The Pyrotec A50L range of incinerators are designed to burn animal carcass waste in an efficient, clean and environmentally safe manner. Using the Pyrolytic principles of combustion, it is particularly suited for whole animal carcasses. This model is specifically for burning animal waste from abattoirs, research centres, waste contractors and animal crematoria and is equipped with the necessary sophistication of control, secondary chamber volume, manual or automatic loading options and chimney.

Automatically temperature controlled to provide optimum combustion conditions, primary and secondary chamber temperatures and fuel economy. |
Primary Chamber: Two, three or four one at 200,000 kcal/hr on/off control, sized to suit model.
Secondary Chamber: one at 350,000 kcal/hr high/low control, size to suit model.
Fans | All combustion and cooling air is provided by a common automatically controlled (automatic loading) centrifugal fans, which provide air to nozzles strategically, located throughout the combustion chambers to ensure optimum conditions. |
Finish | Two coats of primer followed by two coats of enamel finish in red. |
Control panel |
Automatic control system built to IEC standards incorporating relay control, providing all automatic plant functions and incorporating the following sequences. 1) Preheat cycle 2) Burn cycle 3) Automatic Loading (when fitted) 4) Burndown 5) Cooldown 6) Ash removal (when fitted) The control panel will be equipped with an active mimic diagram showing operating status of the plant together with indication of primary, secondary chambers and exhaust temperatures. |
Monitors | Particulate monitor, carbon monoxide and oxygen monitor, six-point chart recorder. The standard control system provides a digital display of the secondary chamber; however, in some instances, the local DEFRA official may require the temperature to be permanently recorded by a dedicated chart recorder. |
Loading |
Hydraulic powered automatic fully sequenced ram loader designed to operate in unison with the incinerator operation having programmable time and temperature operating sequence to ensure maximum throughput. Hydraulic powered automatic top loading door designed to operate in unison with the incinerator operation having programmable time and temperature operating sequence to ensure maximum throughput. Complete with waste feed hopper to accept pallet or boxed waste for loading with bin tipper or forklift truck. When designed for semi-automatic ash removal a large bulk loading door can be supplied which may also be used to load occasionally very large carcasses not normally accommodated by the ram loader. |
Ash removal |
Internal automatic deashing in operation together with ash treatment zone allows for continuous ash removal throughout the burning cycle (optional). Vacuum ash removal systems can be provided for single shift operation as an alternative. |
Heat recovery |
Specially designed waste heat recovery boilers can be incorporated to extract heat from the combustion gases and provide either hot water or steam. |
